A visit to Chingombe was made on the 29th June 2008 by Mr Franklin, Mr Sice, Mr Bowen and
Ms Chitambo.  It was the first visit there in a number of years as it was felt that it would be good to re-establish MMA’S commitment to Chingombe as this area is very remote.

The team was met by Father Marcel who was very pleased to see his old friends again. There was much laughter and discussion and we were taken all over and shown the needs of the mission.

After lunch we went to the clinic where Ms Chitambo made a list of things needed and arrangements were made for Mr Bowen to repair the generator which was not working and would be transported to Ndola to be repaired at the METS workshop.

The team took off at 1600 hrs and flew to Ndola where they dropped off Mr Bowen and
Ms Chitambo and then flew on to Chingola where the aircraft is hangared.
